Brandt Developments is currently seeking a Facility Operator in our Saskatoon location. Reporting to the Director of Property Management the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of our mixed building portfolio.
Responsibilities/Duties:
    Oversees maintenance, repair and operating conditions of the facility/plant HVAC systems and equipment
    Maintain the general appearance, cleanliness and security of the properties assigned
    Carry out regular building inspections and respond to conditions requiring attention
    Ensure that all day-to-day Tenant Request for Services are carried out promptly
    Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs
    Ensure ongoing repairs and maintenance are implemented in-house
    Assist in arranging, organizing and meeting suppliers/contractors on-site to coordinate work being performed in the properties assigned
    Assist with the operations budget and operate the building(s) within the budget parameters
    Participation in on-call rotation
    Inspection and audit of industrial/commercial buildings and equipment
    Oversee and monitor the work of third parties
    Engage in best practices for energy and environmental conservation
    Ensure adherence to all pertinent government regulations and business unit practices
    All other tasks deemed necessary and requested.

Qualifications:
    3 to 5 years experience in a commercial building environment
    Must have a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License
    Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing
    Possess a minimum of a Fireman and Refrigeration Operator Certificate
    Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
    Building Systems Technician Certification preferred.
