Description

Located in Prince, SK. in the RM of Meota, Farmer Brown's Honey is looking for an Apiary worker with experience, or, enthusiasm for learning how to keep bees in a commercial beekeeping operation.

While beekeeping experience is preferred, this position will allow you to gain familiarity with all aspects of beekeeping:  Hive/colony health, inspection, honey harvesting and maintenance of equipment.

College, University, as well as others looking for seasonal work, are welcome to apply.  

These jobs are physically demanding, and sometimes repetitive.  The ability to lift >25 kgs is necessary, thus applicants must be in good physical condition. Willing to work as a team and to think and act independently are critical.  The ability and desire work around bees is important.  You will either love it or hate it. The ability to stay calm under pressure is important.  No bee allergies.

Preferences:
- English speakers with drivers license valid in Canada.
- Ability and desire to return for multiple seasons.

All wages are negotiable, based on experience.  40-50 hours a week, or as required.
