Seasonal full time positions available for Apiary Techincians. Wages depend on experience ($14.28 - $17.00)
April 21st 2018 - October 21st 2018
Land location - NE 17-16-31 W1st


Duties include but are not limited to; Unwrapping hives, reversing hives and spring maintenance, application of honey bee treatments, making nucs, supering (adding empty boxes to hives), Maintaining equipment and a clean shop, pulling and extraction of honey, moving/feeding/wrapping hives in the fall.


-Must be able to liftand carry 50lb-70lbs standard, and up to 100lbs for extended periods of time
-Applicant must not be allergic to honey bee stings.
-Required long hours and occasional weekend/holiday work (minimum 40hours a week).
-Require the ability to work well with others, and able to work long periods in the heat.
-Ability to speak the English language is an asset, but is not required.
-2 years beekeeping experience required
-Possible bonus at the end of the season based upon performance and honey production.
