What does a Bamboo Producer/Editor do?

The Producer/Editor is responsible for creating, developing and delivering video concepts that effectively communicate our clients message and enhance their brand identity.  They will assist with creative concepts for corporate videos and short documentaries. The producer/editor works with Bamboo Shoots creative team of producers, cinematographers, editors, sound technicians, graphic artists and colourists to oversee all elements of production ensuring each project achieves the highest level of quality and consistency throughout. They are tasked with researching potential interviewees, sourcing footage, images and graphics, as well as interviewing subjects for factual and documentary short films.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is creative, personable, and can effectively communicate their ideas to clients and team members.  They have experience in producing, directing, shooting and editing videos.  The candidate should be familiar with using a number of different camera technologies ranging from DSLR cameras (5dmkIII), Broadcast cameras (Panasonic P2), lighting and sound equipment. They are proficient editing in Adobe Suite of Products including Photoshop and After Effects. Experience working in a Multi-Camera live, live-to-tape, and streaming environment is also an asset.

We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience and a Degree/Diploma in Film, Media Production, or Journalism.
