NORTHERN LIGHTS SCHOOL DIVISION #113
invites applications for the following position:

TEMPORARY HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER
    at    
Minahik Waskahigan High School
Pinehouse Lake, SK

Minahik Waskahigan High School in Pinehouse Lake, Saskatchewan is a 7-12 school with an enrolment of approximately 213 students.  There is a professional staff supported by paraprofessional and special education support staff.

Extra curricular activities are an important part of the program.  There is a well-developed strategic plan in place and this staff has been involved in several program initiatives at the local and division levels.

Requirements for this position would include:
-    background in high school English
-    ESL/ESD background
-    strong classroom management and organizational skills
-    experience in and/or knowledge of northern culture


This is a temporary teaching position to start January 8, 2018 until April 20, 2018.  The successful candidates must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.

Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance.  Moving assistance may also be available.
