Briercrest College and Seminary expanding the Athletics Department and is looking for coaches to lead the following programs:
-Varsity Softball Coach
-Badminton Coach
-Golf Coach
-Dance Coach
-Band Conductor
These Coaches will focus their efforts on building the program through recruitment and retention of mission fit players, team staff and alumni.
Briercrest Athletics is dedicated to prepare student athletes to become champions pursuing excellence in their lives of faith through service, and in sport.
-The Head Coaches will provide leadership and execute overall athletic plan to their team
-This is based out of the athletic department
-2017-18 school year will be the recruiting year
-This would be a contract position
-2018-19 school year will be the first year of competition
-Will be a part time position
Qualifications
-A desire and commitment to be a follower of Jesus Christ as a way of life
-A Bachelors degree preferred
-Related work experience is beneficial
-Has completed or is completing appropriate certification for post-secondary athletics
Administrative, technical and financial skills needed to be successful at the role
Team Relationships
-These positions will report to Athletic Director.
-These positions will work with the athletic department staff and other coaches
-These positions will begin as soon as a suitable candidate are found.
