eHealth Saskatchewan has an immediate opening for an experienced, results oriented accounting professional with strong personal motivation and technical accounting skills to work as a key member of our dynamic finance team.
Typically the knowledge, skills and abilities required to be successful in this position include:
Superior analytical skills;
Ability to recognize financial accounting and management issues and their implications;
Work independently or a team member on a range of initiatives including financial statements, budget development, monthly forecasting;
Ability to prioritize issues and ones workload to meet critical deadlines and service levels in a reactive work environment;
Ability to develop financial management policies and procedures to improve internal controls and accountability;
Conceptualize feasible alternatives, assess options and recommend solutions;
Excellent oral and written communication adaptable to non-financial audiences
Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards; and
Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and/or Accounting supplemented by a CPA designation.
