The Diocese Of QuAppelle (Anglican Church Of Canada), is seeking a Finance Administrator to work in Regina to be responsible for the day-to-day and month-to-month bookkeeping and accounting processes for the Diocese.
Required duties:
- handle all payables including payroll, pension, insurance;
- process receivables including donations, parish assessments;
- prepare financial statements and budgets as needed;
- administer trusts and reserves;
- communicate with employees, parishes and governing agencies on all financial matters
The Finance Administrator reports to the Executive Archdeacon and supports the work of the Bishop, Diocesan ministers, Synod Office staff, and the Parishes of the Diocese in all functions related to financial administration. This is a fast-paced role requiring abilities to work with a high volume and to independently prioritize a wide variety of tasks and projects.

Applicants will:
- have formal education such as a University degree or SIAST diploma in accounting or business administration, or significant experience in lieu of formal training;
- have at least 3 years accounting experience;
- be familiar with the requirements of not-for-profit organizations;
Experience with the ACCPAC (Sage 300) system and ADP payroll system would be an advantage.
