Description

Qualifications (PLEASE NOTE - we will only consider applications with the education/experience listed: :
BSW or equivalent
ECE 3
Youth Care Worker
First Aide and CPR
Valid Licence

Must have supervisory and or management experience. Must be able to supervise six people or more. Must be flexible with availability.  Must have experience working with children with varying behaviours.
Duties:
To ensure the home and the children are receiving the proper care and attention and following the plan set forth for the home to foster the holistic development of all children in the highest possible regard.
Home Duties:
Create menu and post on fridge for staff
Ensure the proper preparation of meals
Ensure proper kitchen clean up is completed after each meal  
Prepare a weekly/biweekly grocery list
Facilitate meal prayers
Ensure the proper sign out procedure is being followed for bank cards and petty cash is balancing and receipts accounted for.  
Leadership Duties:
Ensure cleaning list is completed on a daily or weekly basis
Ensure home maintenance is kept up
Ensure daily logs are complete and accurate
Other Duties:
Fill house schedule on a weekly basis
Purchase all items needed for day to day operations of the home and submit receipts
Attend/conduct monthly staff meetings
Ensure all reports are looked over, signed off on, and delivered to Administrative Co-ordinator
Coordinate and communicate with ministry workers for visits, information sharing and to advocate for any of the childrens needs
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of staff and children at all times
Children Duties:
Ensure all childrens medication is administered as per medication form
Ensure proper pick up and drop off for childrens daily activities
Ensure children have proper clothing for weather
Ensure children have proper supplies for school each morning
Ensure all forms from school/daycare that need signed by a Ministry Worker are done in a timely manner
