Reporting directly to the Dental Director, the Dental Therapist is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive dental program in school based dental clinics to meet the dental needs in our communities. Working with dental assistants in a team approach the caseload for each dental team is 1 to 2 schools.
Position Requirements:
* Registration with SDTA
* Must possess a valid driver's license.
* Must provide a current criminal record check with the vulnerable sectors query.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
* Confidentiality is essential.
