Job Description: The Training Specialist coordinates and provides training and/or services throughout the Region in the following areas in which they are certified: Transfer, Lifting and Re-positioning (TLR), Professional Assault Response Training (PART), Respiratory Fit Testing (RFT), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This position will be responsible for data entry and providing confidential administrative support to the Safety Consultant. They will also deliver ergonomic services as required.

This position will be responsible for review and revising Regional Orientation. The incumbent will operate with a degree of independence in terms of the overall delivery of the programs and exercise sound judgement in the prioritization and completion of their responsibilities.

Experience
* Post-secondary education in a discipline such as education is preferred but not required however a demonstrated ability to teach and deliver effective adult learning is required.
* Proven aptitude for ergonomic principles or willingness to receive ergonomic certification,
* Excellent communication, decision making & interpersonal skills;
* Highly organized and able to work independently;
* Must possess strong, accurate computer skills.

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
37.50 hours per 1 week rotation
