Parkland College is currently seeking an Instructor, Food & Beverage at Peepeekisis First Nation.

This is a term position from January 11 - March 30, 2018 for four (4) hours per day.

This position is primarily responsible for theory and practical instruction of food preparation and beverage service curricula within the Building Your Future, Enriching Your Community Foundational Training program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, and lectures. This position will also be responsible for monitoring practical, hands-on knowledge and skills in a restaurant setting.

Requirements:

The minimum educational qualification for this position is certification in Food & Nutrition Management, Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management.

The minimum amount of recent and related experience required to perform the duties of this position is four years industry experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment

Exceptional communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
