Description

Loraas Recycle is currently looking to fill the position of Loader Operator. If you are looking for a career with a local company that offers regular work hours and stable employment, this position may be for you!

Duties:  
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Directing traffic in and around the material delivery and sorting areas
- Sorting and baling of various recyclable materials
- General housekeeping duties related to the warehouse
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company Safety Manual and OH&S Regulations
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks and report any issues or items of concern found
- Operation of both forklift and loader in warehouse environment
- Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm

Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Safety conscious
- Motivated and productive
- Mechanical aptitude/maintenance experience an asset
- 3-5 years experience operating a Loader, preferably in a warehouse environment
- Forklift operation experience seen as an asset
- Certificate in Loader Operation required
- Must have a Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract
- As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date. A criminal record check will also be required.
