Description

Adecco is looking to place a fulltime Welding Supervisor in NORTH BATTLEFORD.  The Welding Supervisor is to supervise and facilitate all aspects (employees, equipment, material resources, etc.,) of the production lines and related quality control, ensuring maximal quality product throughput in a consistently safe manner.
Welding Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a positive, safe work environment by acting and clearly communicating in a professional manner with workers, peers and management at all times.
Supervise quality control on all products.
Oversee the safe application of welds per specifications to produce quality finished products
Responsible for proper setup of machines and test welds for new products
Maintain timely materials flow- maintenance of raw material levels, stock parts, shop supplies, PPE, consumables and small tools to facilitate maximal performance of all production staff
Ensure work project reflects customer order and that workers complete all finishing functions to proper quality standards such as grinding, double checking containers for missed or improper welds, accurate measurements before product moves to the painting stage.
Supervise, assign and coordinate activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products, applying proper knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, and equipment and fabrication requirements.
Manage and assign duties to line production employees on a daily or as needed basis.
Design and manufacture jigs
Ensure items received in the back shop or yard are counted, packing slips checked for accuracy, signed and submitted to the office.
Any other duties that may be assigned on an ongoing basis from management.
