Summary:

Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Provide ongoing supervision and support to Pool Department including overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the area
Perform opening and closing duties as required
Assist/conduct performance appraisals and performance management as necessary
Assist in establishing, implementing and monitoring standards of service and operation
Maintain a clean safe and organized recreational space
Ensure pool areas are to health and safety standards thorough water testing, chemical handling and preventative maintenance
Education, Experience, & Skills:
Valid First Aid and CPR/AED
Supervisory experience an asset
WHIMIS
NLS or Bronze Cross an asset
Pool Operators certificate or must be willing to attend within 6 months
Knowledge of pool pumps, filters, chemicals, and circulation systems an asset
Work Conditions:
Minimum 18 years of age
Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, standing, reaching, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be available to work flexible shifts; days, evenings, weekends
