Techmation Electric & Controls is hiring an Electrical Project Manager for our Lloydminster branch. We require a dynamic and experienced Electrical Journeyman with previous project management and estimating experience. This position is responsible for managing contract execution with the client by planning, monitoring, controlling, reporting and administering the project.
Requirements:
Journeyman Electrician certificate with Industrial facility construction and maintenance experience
Must have 5 or more years of extensive experience and knowledge of construction, design, and cost management as an Electrical Project Manager or similar position in an Industrial environment
Must be able to read and interpret contracts, blueprints and drawings for industrial projects and understand scope of work and project specifications
Excellent contract administration skills including the ability to review and execute projects based on specific contract specifications
Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans/specifications
Proficient in Primavera (P6), MS Project, and MS Office software
Strong problem solving and organizational skills
Proven ability to address multiple conflicting priorities and responsibilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and present oneself in a professional manner and represent the company image
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team
Pro-active and decisive personality
Demonstrated leadership and project success is expected
Candidates must have valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS and OSSA Fall Protection certificates
