JOB OPPORTUNITY
An Early Childhood Educator is needed to provide care at the Centre Educatif Les Etoiles Filantes Early Learning Centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a passion for working with children and a desire to enrich the childrens lives through play and learning.
Our centre is a government subsidized, bilingual (English & French) facility located in Ponteix, Saskatchewan. Bilingualism would be an asset.
This position will be part time (10-25 hours a week), with full time possibility in the future.
You must be legally entitled to work in Canada to apply as the employer does not have a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) that would support a foreign worker.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
-Ensuring safety and well-being of children
-Assisting children with all necessary care routines (diapering, toileting, hand hygiene, etc.)
-Planning and implementing structured activities, games and crafts
-Preparing and serving meals and snacks
-Additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director
The successful candidate must possess a minimum Level 1 Early Childhood Education, or be enrolled in classes before the end of the mandatory three month probationary period. You must have First Aid and CPR as well as satisfactory criminal record check complete with vulnerable sector check. Wage is dependent on education level, starting wage is $12.23 per hour.
