We are currently looking to expand our kitchen team at MR. MIKES MARTENSVILLE location. Develop your career with one of Canada's fastest growing casual restaurant chains. The Cook is responsible for the receiving, storage and preparation of all food products according to Mr. Mikes specifications and practices. The Cook is responsible for maintaining proper levels of prepared products. Further they will be responsible for the assembly, cooking, plating and garnishing of all food products according to Mr. Mikes specifications. They will control the products leaving the kitchen to ensure that each has been properly accounted for. They will also maintain a clean workplace at all times. Role: * -Monitoring and maintaining the health and safety of all guests -Operating to Mr. Mikes systems and standards -Ensuring operational profitability Requirements: -Minimum 1 years kitchen experience -Amazing guest focus, passion for Leadership, Teamwork and Culinary Service Standards -Have the highest guest focus and culinary standards for food quality, freshness, and team building -Desire to gain Service Leadership, Culinary Operations and Business Experience -Willingness to learn in a high volume, Casual Dining setting -Enjoy being "hands-on" and providing great hospitality is your focus -Excellent communication and organizational skills essential -Demonstrated ability to follow direction and meet deadlines -Are a high energy, positive person! -Are looking for an environment that demands high standards and rewards the contribution of the individual! -Food safety, WHIMIS, etc. Certifications an asset.
