Yorkton Co-operative Association Ltd. is currently seeking a Full-Time Meat Cutter for the Food Store located in Kamsack, SK.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing legendary customer service to all customers by means of a positive attitude, a desire to work with the public and showcasing an energetic personality.
The duties of this position will consist of wrapping, cutting and preparing meat products while ensuring proper cutting and trim standards are consistently met. You will also be responsible for ensuring counters and display cases are filled and merchandised to meat department standards. All duties must be performed with a high level of safety and sanitation standards.
The successful candidate will hold the Retail Meat Specialist Certificate or equivalent. In lieu of the certification, related experience may be considered.
Receiving and stocking meat inventories require you to be physically able to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
This position will require your flexibility to work all assigned shifts which may include days, evenings and weekends.
