Reporting to the Construction Manager - the Project Manager will be working with our site teams during project(s) execution. Some of the major responsibilities are as follows
Direct contact with client representatives.
Collaborating with project superintendents and foremen to allocate resources.
Review project plans and specifications.
Assist estimator in preparation of project budget.
Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis.
Control and monitor labour, material and equipment expenses.
Control and monitor QA/QC expectations and specifications.
Control and monitor Health and Safety expectations and specifications.
Education and Experience
Minimum 5 Years experience as a Project Manager on industrial projects.
Must have understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft and Primevera applications.
Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Professional Engineering degree and/or Project Management Professional Certificate would be an asset.
