Part Time Hardware Clerk
Nipawin Home Centre Hardware Department 200 Timber Drive
Function:
To be dependable for all scheduled shifts
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
To provide High Performance Guest Service including pump island service and propane fueling, as assigned
To be responsible for maintaining cleanliness at pump islands, Cardlock islands, and store front areas, as assigned
To perform general housekeeping duties, receiving of merchandise, stocking shelves, operating till systems, shovelling snow, spreading salt/sand
To perform record keeping and reconciliation duties associated with environmental responsibilities regarding petroleum and propane
To be familiar with automotive, propane supplies, fishing tackle, and pet supplies / pet food
To be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, rotation and order of merchandise in the store, yard and shed areas and to load products into customer vehicles
To assist with inventory counts and control procedures
To stock shelves, merchandise according to standards, and create appealing product displays
To be familiar with and adhere to all Pineland Co-op Policies and Procedures
To perform opening and closing procedures
To perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent preferred
Must be capable of heavy lifting on an ongoing basis; must have valid drivers license
Must be well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision
Applicant must be able to work opening and closing shifts, day shifts and a weekend rotation
Must be willing to obtain forklift operators certification
