Description

The Estevan Public Library Adult Program Coordinator is responsible to develop an adults programming strategy for the branch that meets the needs of the community; Coordinate and deliver adults programming and related services;Coordinate and deliver technology based programming;
Assist adults, and the public generally, in using the library and its services and in the use of computerized information resources; Coordinate and deliver outreach services; Coordinate the delivery of adult literacy service; Work with the Children's Programmer in the development and delivery of Family Literacy programs; Assist in building community relationships in the promotion of the library's services for adults; Assist in supervising the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager; Assume the duties of the Children's Program Coordinator on a temporary basis as required; Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designate.


Qualifications: 2 years or more relevant post secondary training; experience coordinating community programming for adults; ability to design, promote and deliver creative and effective adults programs; Library Experience an asset.
