Description

The Education and Outreach Coordinator organizes, delivers, and evaluates the PPR education programs. This position will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and reporting on project activities as outlined in the project work plan. The Coordinator will also be responsible for implementing other projects on an as needed basis as needed. The Coordinator will work with, community-based organizations, schools, and the regional health authority and/or Saskatchewan Ministry of Health to provide education on HIV, Hep C, other STBBIs, and other sexual and reproductive health topics (including but not limited to contraceptives, pregnancy, puberty, healthy relationships, and consent). The Coordinator will also contribute to grant writing, fundraising, office administration, and other duties as assigned.
Education in public health, community health, nursing, social sciences, humanities, social work, education, or related discipline
One to two years of experience working with youth and/or in educational settings
Knowledge of HIV, Hepatitis C, related STBBIs, and reproductive health.
