Village of Vibank is looking for a Casual Maintenance Worker
What you'll do:
This position is guaranteeing a minimum of 15 hours per week during off peak times, with casual fill in for vacation and sick relief as well as to help when workloads are heavy, candidates must have broad availability
Ensure that Village residents quality of life is enjoyable by ensuring that repairs and maintenance to the Village are performed accurately and timely
Ensure that the outside of the municipal buildings have a pleasant and safe curb appeal by performing snow and ice removal as well as gardening and landscaping
Perform minor painting, drywall, plumbing, carpentry and other maintenance work
Perform and maintain vehicle logs as well as minor service/repairs
Complete daily logs
What you'll need:
Must have a positive attitude, be motivated and enjoy working around the public
Some prior experience with painting, vehicle, and general maintenance work is an asset
Able to multi-task and remain flexible in tasks and hours of work
