Three Star Trucking Ltd. is a family owned and operated business established in 1962. We operate in the 4 western provinces of Canada, North Dakota and Montana with offices in Alida & Wapella, SK & Grande Prairie, AB. The position would be based out of Alida, SK.
The Health and Safety, Human Resources Manager must be a self-motivated with the high standards.
Reporting directly to the Senior Management team you will have functional reporting and accountability. Experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry, fluid hauling will be an asset.
Your resume will need to include experience with HSE and Human Resources as well as your progressions including experience in how to
- Maintain continuous improvement in a Health Safety and Environment Integrated safety management system;
- Lead incident investigations, initiate reports of all incidents, injuries, or near misses, complete root cause analysis and preventive measures to workers and senior management;
- Work closely with the Joint Health and Safety committee;
- Provide HSE training and orientation;
- Remain compliant to legal and other requirements through audits, inspections and investigations from the perspective of learning.
Qualifications & Experience would include but are not limited to:
- Minimum 5 years related experience, Health and Safety with a sound knowledge of current Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations;
- ISN and Comply Works experience;
- Working experience with Emergency Response Procedures and drills for office, shop and infield workers;
- Experience with Federal Acts and Regulations and working in a Federally regulated company;
- Completed Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, CRSP or working towards CRSP will be considered an asset;
- SGI Claims Experience;
- Experience with Return to Work and Modified Duties for injured and or health related concerns of workers;
- Experience in Conflict Resolution and employee/employer mediation.
