The Salvation Army Gemma House is seeking an energetic, team oriented, Permanent Full-time Awake Night worker (approximately 72 hours bi-weekly that includes a combination of 9.5 and 12 hour shifts). Ideally, candidates will have experience working with at risk teens and have strong therapeutic relationship building skills. Candidates must be comfortable working alone as needed. Candidates will possess a certificate in youth care; a bachelor level degree in social work, the social sciences or relevant human services area or be actively working toward a certificate or degree in one of these areas. Candidates must possess a current First Aid/CPR certificate and a valid driver's licence. Mandatory training in TCI, ASIST, etc. will be provided. The successful applicant will be required to present a Criminal Record check (within 6 months) and a recent Driving Abstract.
