Description

The Council of the Town of Coronach, serving a regional population of approximately 750 and hosting the Poplar River Power Plant and Coal Mine is seeking the services of a full time Assistant Administrator.
The successful applicant must have experience in office administration and possess well developed organisational and interpersonal communication skills, be detail oriented, and a team player.  Confidentiality is a requirement; and said candidate must also be capable of meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, adapting to change and working unsupervised.  Preference will be given to those candidates possessing the following:
- Local Government Administration Certificate or Business Certificate/Diploma.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Municipal experience.
- Experience in financial operations, payroll, accounts payable and taxation.
This position is 35 hour per week position.  The municipality provides an employee benefits package and participates in the Municipal Employee Pension Program.  Duties are to commence as soon as possible.
