Job Description: Under the direction of the Director, Staff Services, the Confidential Administrative Assistant, Human Resources is accountable for providing confidential secretarial/clerical support to all Staff Services. Team members including the Employee Benefits Officer, Manager, Staff Relations and Human Resource Officers. The incumbent is responsible for the efficient operation of the Staff Services office including responsibility to ensure all secretarial functions are completed in an accurate, timely and confidential manner.
Required Qualifications
Office Education certificate
Grade 12
Experience
At least three (3) years related experience, preferably in a health care setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Organizational skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
High level of competency
Typing speed of 60 wpm
Knowledge of Human Resource theory and practice
Ability to produce professional documents including letters, brochures, posters and signs utilizing various computer applications
