M & R Machines (2000) Ltd. has an opening for a permanent, full-time welder.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Set up and operation of welding equipment, cutting equipment & hand tools
- Own and maintain required tooling
- Understanding of proper use and handling of welding gases
- Understanding of welding principles
- Have a mechanical aptitude
- Carry out work using appropriate materials
- Perform general preventative maintenance of welding equipment
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings and instructions
- Document parts and material usage
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Report broken and worn tools and equipment to supervisor
- Follow quality control procedures and inspections
Qualifications:
- Enrolment in Saskatchewan apprenticeship program or journeyman status
- High school diploma
- Strong work ethic
- Have a valid driver's license
- Work well in a team environment
- Physical strength, stamina and use of proper lifting techniques is required to maneuver heavy material
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
