The Quality Representative (QR) plays an important role in the development and manufacturing of products by ensuring that those products meet required quality standards before they reach the consumer. The QR is responsible for conducting inspection and testing procedures and internal audits throughout product development and manufacturing processes. The QR is involved in the entire course of manufacturing. He/she may inspect components before assembly, analyze trial products during development and/or test finished goods. During these processes, the QR records and analyzes results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products. This data may be used to solve production issues and recommend improvements.
