We are seeking a Full Time Delivery Driver immediately to make deliveries to our Customers (retail & contract sales locations) across Regina as well as weekly runs to cities such as Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, etc. This position will also assist inside the factory with loading/unloading product into trailers.
Delivery Driver Position Overview:
Loading and unloading of trailers is required so the ability to lift up to 100 lb mattresses is essential. In addition, the Class 5 Delivery Driver is responsible for handling delivery slips and COD payments upon delivery. Performing Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections, maintaining log books and complying with the National Safety Code is a MUST.
Air endorsement is an asset but not necessary.
Qualifications
Class 5 Drivers License Required
Clean Drivers Abstract
1 year of previous 5 Ton delivery driving experience required
Knowledge of Regina, SK and MB geography
Excellent communication skills including the ability to read, write and speak English
Physically fit & able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Able to take direction and perform tasks within specified time frames
Able to multi-task & work in a fast paced environment
Team Player
Excellent attendance & punctuality
Compensation & Hours
$15 per hour. This position is FT Monday thru Friday. The ability to work morning, afternoons, nights, overnights as delivery schedules require.
