Description

Parkland College is seeking an Accounting Instructor for our Saskatchewan Polytechnic Business Certificate and Office Administration programs.

This is a term position from December 18, 2017 - May 4, 2018.

This position is primarily responsible for the  delivery of course curriculum, through the use of technology for one (or both) of the following courses:  

- ACCT 136: Automated Accounting
- ACCT 125: Introduction to Financial Accounting II

Qualifications:

ACCT 136- Automated Accounting:
- Professional Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA)
- Two years of recent and relevant work experience (two years within the last five) in a business environment in the specialty area to be taught.

ACCT 125- Intro. to Financial Accounting II
- Four (4) year Bachelor degree in Commerce or Administration; OR Equivalent 4 year Business degree; OR related 4 year degree with major or related experience in specialty area to be taught; OR Business diploma with Education degree with related experience in specialty area to be taught; OR Professional Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA)
- Two years of recent and relevant work experience (two years within the last five) in a business environment in the specialty area to be taught.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.

Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval
