Job Description: The Senior Social Worker provides clinical coordination services for youth and families referred to the Youth Community Counselling Team.  Under the direction of the Manager of the Youth Community Counselling Team the Senior Social Worker coordinates clinical flow based on triage level ensuring timely access to care within the Youth Community Counselling Team.  
The Senior Social Worker provides clinical and administrative supervision to other social workers and disciplines on the team.  The Senior has responsibility for assessment and treatment for adolescents and their families. The position requires advanced assessment and intervention skills in family and individual therapy with adolescents.

Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Two years social work practice experience in a mental health setting with youth and families.
Supervisory experience in a mental health setting with children/ youth and families.
Experience with wait list coordination and clinical flow within a client and family centred environment of continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advanced communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Research skills
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills
Presentation skills
