Working under the supervision of the Shelters Animal Health Technician, a Kennel Attendant will attend to all aspects of the care and comfort of the pets at the SPCA Animal Shelter. A basic knowledge of animal behavior would be an asset, but this can be learned on the job. Above all, applicants should have a genuine desire to nurture and care for animals. The SPCA Animal Shelter maintains high standards of hygiene and health protocols, and the work of the Kennel Attendant is a key component in keeping our facility disease free!
