Description

The University Coordinator is an in-scope position reporting to the Manager of University Programming.  The incumbent is primarily responsible for implementing and supervising university programming throughout the College. The University Coordinator also plays a significant role in identifying community needs; developing partnerships; researching distance delivery models; developing and recommending policy or procedure modifications; and evaluating programs.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist in monitoring budget expenditures, amend budget if required and replenish supplies; disseminate information on courses, programs and services provided by the College and other post-secondary institutions throughout Saskatchewan; maintain appropriate records and statistical information as required;  and other duties as assigned.

The minimal qualifications for this position are; a relevant two-year diploma or academic equivalent; two (2) years of related experience in program coordination, knowledge of modern managerial practices, office procedures, and business communication; must be prepared to schedule hours of work according to the demands of the position including evenings and weekends when necessary (i.e. field hours); must possess a valid drives license and be willing to travel including overnight stays, air travel, and travel on gravel roads in all weather conditions.
