The successful candidate to have:
* Be 19 years of age for service/stock of alcohol
* 1 year minimum of restaurant/room service supervisory or management experience with knowledge of staffing, food service, scheduling, guest service, bartending, Squirrel (or other restaurant POS system) and cash handling
* Applicant must be prepared to work in a high paced, fine dining, customer oriented, supervisory position dealing with guest complaints and ensuring that all associates are offering courteous, efficient, and attentive service
* Have strong Leadership Skills
* Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
General Duties to include but are not limited to:
- Ensure guest checks are handled accurately and efficiently
- Receive and seat guests following a rotation of stations
- Be accountable for shift float
- Ensure all scheduled employees are present, dressed accordingly to the standard and ready to work
- Ensure staff is completing posted side work and section detailing
- Verify reservations and assign tables, section evenly
- Greet guests promptly and courteously
- Make sure each table in the dining room is "touched" each night by self or kitchen manager
- Make routine inspections of the room to ensure all tables are clean and detailed before each seating
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate events and specials for the shift
- Communicate all necessary information for the next shift
- Make sure restaurant and service areas are clean, detailed, stocked, and prepared for the next shift
