Express Employment Professionals is a full service staffing & recruiting agency. We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills to fill the role of Dispatcher for one of our trucking client companys in Regina.
This role is perfect for someone like you who can multi-task, handle heavy workloads, prioritize job orders in order of importance, and has impeccable organizational skills. Our client is looking for an individual that preferably has previous experience in the trucking industry, and of course comes with previous dispatching experience.
Some responsibilities will include receiving accurate job orders from customers and dispatch the appropriate trucks, and then confirming orders were successfully completed. Maintain an up-to-date electronic file of all job orders, trucks, and pick-up and delivery times. Promoting and support all company safety programs and initiatives will be of utmost importance to ensure the safety of all in the organization.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years Dispatching experience; preferably in the trucking industry
Previous experience in safety would be a definite asset
Accuracy & attention to detail are a must
Work well under pressure and handle heavy workloads
Sound computer skills will be required
