Description

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment where flexibility and the ability to constantly reprioritize are valued attributes.  Clerks are mobile throughout the building mostly utilizing the stairs as documents are moved internally in paper and electronic form.  Clerking encompasses a wide variety of duties & responsibilities and one day is seldom similar to the next.    If you possess solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and enjoy working in a team environment with tight turnarounds and daily deadlines, Clerking may be of interest to you.

Previous experience in a professional office setting is a great asset as well as a clerical and/or administrative background.  Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written is essential in addition to well developed interpersonal skills as you interact with members of the legal profession and the general public.

Daily duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:
-Delivering documents internally between 4 floors and externally to the courthouse, other legal firms
-Photocopying/scanning/binding documents
-Organizing incoming office supplies
-Filing books & documents in legal library
-Sorting and delivering incoming mail, processing outgoing mail
-Lending clerical assistance to various law departments as necessary
-Maintaining electronic filing systems/general file maintenance
-Communicating with lawyers, clients, legal assistants and other clerks

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada and resident in the Regina area.
