The position is responsible for the safe, effective instruction of Aqua Fitness at the YMCA of Saskatoon
Required Skills and Education:
SPRA Aquatic Fitness Instructor or Equivalent recognized Aquafit Instructor certification
First Aid/CPR C accreditation.
Competencies:
Provide safe and appropriately challenging fitness activities for YMCA members in Aqua Fitness and instruction to the level of training certified;
Portray a positive image;
Maintain instruction and accident reports as required;
Proactively ensure an environment of mutual respect and professionalism toward fellow employees and members in accordance with YMCA of Saskatoon policies.
