Manufacturer of Agricultural and Light Construction Material Handling Products with sales throughout North America requires proven and experienced Sales Leader to join its management team (www.leonsmfg.com & www.ramrodequip.com).
The LEON-RAMROD General Sales Manager is responsible for attaining and exceeding management budget sales objectives within policies approved by the Company. This is achieved through the management and mentoring of the current sales team located throughout North America.
Activities include implementing initiatives that meet sales objectives while maintaining a healthy backlog of approved orders, managing advertising and promotion activities (with recommendations for new initiatives), maintaining strong customer interactions, and successfully growing the dealer network in areas needing improvement.
Applicants should have education based in sales development, business, engineering, or management. Sales experience in the agricultural, light construction & outdoor power equipment industries is important. Candidates must have strong management experience increasing sales through dealer (B2B) channels with a high degree of aggressiveness and competitiveness to achieve results. Past experience leading a sales team is critical.
