The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association requires an individual interested to work as part of our In Home Support Program driving a child to and from her visits from Melfort to Prince Albert and back, every other Wednesday.

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association exists to support and encourage foster families through education and advocacy, helping create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care across the province.

The In Home Support Program provides support services for families requiring domestic supports, child care or transportation. This position will only be for transportation, pick up a child in Melfort, take them to Prince Albert for a visit, then drive them back to Melfort.

Shifts for this position are likely every other Wednesday for approx. 5 hours.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with children, supervisors, and partnering agencies and maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
- Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel to work and for the transportation of the child
- Must provide a recent drivers abstract and have appropriate insurance on your vehicle
- Criminal Record Check (Within 3 Months)

Salary for this position is $14.00 per hour, plus mileage.
