Since 1992, Parkland Manufacturing Ltd. has delivered the highest quality custom steel fabrications to customers in a broad range of industry sectors. From our 10,000 sq ft facility in Esterhazy, SK we fabricate custom steel structures up to 22,000+lb pieces using carbon, stainless steel and specialty metals.
We are looking for an experienced CNC operator, however we will train the right individual to operate a state of the art structural and plate cutter, in Esterhazy, SK. Full time position available Monday to Friday, 7:00 - 3:30, includes health and dental benefits and pension plan.
General Description:
Set up and prove out CNC Programs
Carry out inspection of completed pieces
Deburr all completed components
Detect and correct programs or machining malfunctions
Read blueprints, drawing and engineering information
Operate and perform to production standards
Keep track of work orders
Maintain a clean organized work space
Maintain/ facilitate repairs
Experience/ Education:
Knowledge of CNC cutting and current tooling technologies
Continual improvement of cutting process
Material specifications and cutting data
Effective communication and strong problem solving skills
Flexible, energetic and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
