The School Aged English Facilitator works under the direction of the Manager of the Language Training Unit and will assist the School Aged and Childminding Coordinator in the planning and delivery of programming to elementary school age immigrant and refugee children. Programming will include a balance of language development activities for English as Additional Language learners, community orientation and recreation. The purpose of the program is to enable immigrant and refugee children to be better prepared to integrate into the Canadian school system.
**Candidates under consideration will be required to participate in an assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, language abilities, and computer testing.

**Education and Experience:
-Post secondary training in education and/or early childhood development and equivalent to six months experience, paid or volunteer, in delivering programming to elementary school age children, OR
-Equivalent of one year of experience, paid or volunteer, in delivering programming to elementary school age children.
**Required Licenses and/or Certificates:
-Certificate in Standard First Aid and CPR.
-Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) certification - no criminal record (includes -Vulnerable Sector Search) must be done within last three months.
