Description

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the incumbent is responsible to provide senior level administrative support to the Human Resources Unit with considerable discretionary judgment and management of confidential issues. Provides day-to-day HR related administration and support for the Human Resources Manager, including all correspondence, requests for information, scheduled reporting. The candidate must have a good verbal and written communication skills and highly-developed ability to work independently.

**Candidates under consideration will be required to participate in an assessment process of interview and computer testing. Please note that this is an out-of-scope position.

**Education and Experience:

-Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or  
-Completion of post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources with two years of relevant work experience.  
-Basic knowledge of labour law and unionized workplace.
-Knowledge of ADP (EZlabour) would be an asset.

**Required Licenses and/or Certification:

-Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) certification - no criminal record (includes Vulnerable Sector Search) must be done within the last three months.
