Description

Reporting to the Vice President Football Operations, General Manager, & Head Coach, the Football Operations Coordinator will manage the logistics and administration associated with the Football Operations staff including players and coaches.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP Football Operations, GM, & Head Coach with daily schedule
- Provide game day, practice, and training camp support
- Coordinate travel Coaches, players, and other Football Operations staff
- Main point of contact with hotels and transportation companies for in season travel
- Assist in NFL/NCAA/CIS game and practice accreditation
- Support player needs
- Assist in player onboarding, set-up and coordination of scheduling for needed service/meetings.  This includes transportation to/from the airport
- Oversee the securing of immigration documents for players and coaching staff
- Preparation of weekly travel itineraries
- Support the organizational and administrative needs of the Football Operations
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
- Enrollment or completion of post-secondary education in business, administration, or sports management
- One year experience in a similar office environment
- Experience in sports or recreation a definite asset
- Proven organization skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in using computer software including spreadsheets, databases, internet based systems, email, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability work as a team, but also able to work alone with little assistance
- Have a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle
- Willing to travel with the team as needed
- Availability to work irregular work hours and work schedules
