Description

Courtside Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation offers physiotherapy, exercise therapy, sports medicine and functional rehabilitation programs. We are seeking an organized, confident self-starter to provide billing and administrative services for our clinic. As an administrative assistant/biller at Courtside, you perform with a high level of energy, are thorough and detail oriented. You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Work and have a solid command of the English language and excellent communication skills. Your work experience demonstrates success in providing customer serve and strong administrative support.
Responsibilities include:
-Invoicing funders for services
-Posting payments to Accounts Receivable
-Managing Accounts Receivable for timely payments
-Conversing with funders when necessary
-Answering switchboard at reception, greeting & assisting clients
-Scheduling appointments for clients & managing professional's schedules
-Processing & balancing payment transactions
-Processing incoming and outgoing mail, courier & faxes
-Providing admin support under direction of office manager and clinic director
-Monitoring & ordering office & clinic supplies
-Assisting with photocopier/fax maintenance
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-In-person and telephonic customer service skills, ideally in a medical setting
-A basic accounting or business course
-Minimum 2 years experience in a related field
-Understanding of medical terminology is an asset
