Description

Question:

- Do you have the specific experience with forage and turf seed to confidently buy (from companies around the world) and sell the seed domestically and internationally?
- Can you work independently to identify marketing opportunities; understanding the risks and benefits around the buying and selling a commodity.
- Do you like a role where you earn profit sharing when you are successful?

If YES, and are legally entitled to work in Canada, your skills are required to join this successful seed marketer.

What would you be doing?

- Managing strategic customer relationships
- Offer seed to customers based on the species and quality they require
- Blend different qualities of seed to meet customer expectations and contract specs.
- Watch/manage inventory and purchase or sell according to levels; pricing the inventory accordingly.
- Determine purchase price of inventory
- Coordinate sales with production, processing, quality control, shipping and delivery.
- Ensure sales and purchase contracts are completed and outstanding accounts collected.
- Implement currency conversions and other risk management methods as applicable

The minimum qualifications to be considered are:

- Experience buying/selling forage seed and turf
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills  written and verbal
- Ability to blend products as per quality requirements of receiving country
- Inner drive to succeed
- Ability to travel to the United States for conferences
