OuTcomes Therapy is a new and innovative occupational therapy clinic serving children and youth in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are expanding and looking to hire a contract occupational therapist (part-time) to provide a range of services for pre-school and school aged children, families, and organizations.
Job Description:
Provide high quality, client- and family-centered occupational therapy services;
Effectively communicate and collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to develop outcomes-based supports and services;
Manage a caseload and complete administrative tasks such as consultation notes, service plans, and reports for internal and external use;
Participate in training, program development, and team meetings as needed;
Create and provide parent and community training workshops, as needed; and,
Requirements:
Registered with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists;
Able to provide a Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Persons Check;
Possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and vehicle for travel within Regina and across Southern Saskatchewan
Be able to supply some of your own materials including computer;
Possess current professional liability insurance;
Possess current First aid and CPR certification;
Have a minimum of three years of experience in pediatric practice;
Be flexible, adaptable, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times;
Be willing to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends;
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is an asset;
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
Effective organizational, decision-making, and time management skills;
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team;
Experience working with indigenous communities an asset; and,
Training in Sensory Processing and Experience as a School-based Practitioner considered an asset.
