ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Blaster is responsible for safely completing all aspects of work in the painting, surface preparation, finishing and maintenance of projects in accordance with Quality Control Program procedures and Company policies.
Main responsibilities:
Shot blasting in blast booth
Operate, clean and maintain all equipment
Perform all aspects of coatings project safely and efficiently: Painting, blasting, sanding, priming and sealing
Must have knowledge of the operation of equipment such as air compressors, abrasive blasting, pots, forklifts, man lifts, etc.
Must have knowledge of operation of blasting equipment
Other duties in finishing are may include sanding, coating, and surface preparation work.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Minimum of 3 + years of experience as blaster coating experience. Painting experience will be considered an asset
Must be able to abrasive blast within specifications
Work within confined spaces and heights up to 4 meters

Candidate must pay attention to detail and be able to work independently. Must be trustworthy and dependable. The candidate will need to come in and make an impact immediately without any training.
