Security Officer certificate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to deal with aggressive/violent individuals
Valid drivers license
Communication skills
Ability to work independently

Should the Employer be unable to recruit a fully qualified candidate, would be willing to consider an individual currently enrolled in the Security Officer Certificate program who would be able to complete the training within one year at their own expense. If no candidates are currently enrolled in the Security Officer program, the employer may consider applicants willing to complete the training at their own expense within one year of their start date. No guaranteed hours.  Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
